Through Yoga we begin the practice of moving into stillness. The word «Yoga» comes from Sanskrit, meaning to link-up or to unite. It indicates that the purpose of yoga is to unite ourselves with our highest nature. Yoga helps to calm our mind in order to find inner silence. It builds a unit between body and mind and gives us greater self-awareness.
Yoga offers a variety of health benefits. It improves our flexibility, helps to strengthen our muscles and improves our overall fitness. It has a positive impact on our organs and activates our self-healing process. Through Yoga we learn how to calm our mind and to harmonize our thoughts.
A soft and dynamic Yoga flow that engages body and mind. It pays attention to strength and flexibility as well as synchronization of breath and movement. We practice mindfulness and also keep the alignment of the individual human body in mind. After this class you will feel refreshed, energized and relaxed.
Yin Yoga gives us a counter part to the more Yang related Yoga styles, where we practice powerful Asanas. In Yin Yoga we hold the poses for 3-5 minutes without any muscular work, this helps us to go deeper and reach the fascia and connective tissues. Regular Yin Yoga praxis keeps our fascia and joints flexible and helps us to let go and surrender.
